Mohamed Salah Extends Statement to Squad, Discloses Curtis Jones
Jones has shared that Salah said sorry to the team after the uproar from his public comments.
What Happened
The striker was dropped from a key Champions League match following making accusations and stating his rapport with Arne Slot had deteriorated.
“He speaks for himself and he can say his own stuff,” Jones revealed. “He said sorry to the group and was like: ‘Should anyone feel slighted, please accept my apology.’”
Arne Slot has refused to disclose on whether he was apologised to from the 33-year-old forward.

He emphasized that the team's response stayed normal. “He was the exact same Mo, he had a big smile on his face and everybody was exactly the same with him,” he continued.
Jones also noted that a competitor wanting to play is preferable. “I get that there are certain ways you can go about things,” he said. “But if a lad’s fine to just sit out, then I think that’s a bigger problem.”
Positive Results
Their results have been impressive in the period after the interview fallout. The player is convinced the outburst were not designed to harm the team.
