The former president's Family Member Gets Expert Tips from Tiger Woods Ahead of LPGA First Appearance

The young golfer will have multiple prominent supporters as she makes her professional golf debut later this week.

The 18-year-old athlete, who is the granddaughter of a former US president, obtained a sponsor's invitation to participate at the Annika tournament in Florida.

Her grandfather, someone who loves golf, owns numerous international courses and frequently plays against his granddaughter.

"He's quite skilled. I can't reveal details but we have tight competitions," she stated.

The golfer shared that her grandfather, who cannot attend, advised her: "Just stay calm."

"My grandpa essentially told me to go out there and relax," she continued.

"In my eyes, he's just an ordinary family member. He's not attending for the tournament. He's occupied with presidential duties, making him quite busy."

As an amateur, the golfer has participated in only three events in 2024 and has the 461st position in AJGA listings.

But she's able to get advice from Tiger Woods, who is dating Vanessa.

"He represents the greatest golfer worldwide," the young golfer said.

"Furthermore, he's a more impressive human being. He suggested me to compete, relax, adapting to the flow."

She'll challenge some of the biggest names in professional golf at the Annika, featuring world number two Nelly Korda, England's golfer Hull, professional Thompson and 2023 champion Lilia Vu.

Tournament organizers mentioned that involving Kai exposes golf to wider groups, specifically with the next generation.

Kai maintains a massive following and just introduced her own fashion and living company.
